A passion for nutrition, a love for the land, and a mission to bring the world's most powerful food to Jamaican tables.
Why are the most nutrient-dense foods in the world unavailable in Jamaica?
Microgreens have been used by Michelin-starred chefs and health-conscious families around the world for years. Yet in Jamaica — a country rich with sunshine, fertile soil, and a culture that has always celebrated good food — they were nowhere to be found.
That question sparked a journey. We researched, experimented, failed, learned, and refined — until we grew our first successful tray of microgreens right here on Jamaican soil. That was the beginning of Micro-Greens Farm Ja.
Today, we grow more than a dozen varieties in our carefully controlled growing environment, harvesting every Saturday morning and delivering to your door the same day — so every order arrives at its absolute freshest.
To make Jamaica's families healthier by providing access to the world's most nutrient-dense foods — grown locally, delivered fresh, priced fairly.
We grow using minimal water, no pesticides, and 100% organic growing media. Our environmental footprint is tiny — our nutritional impact is enormous.
We are proudly Jamaican. Everything we do — from sourcing to staffing to delivery — keeps value flowing back into our local community.
Every decision we make — from variety selection to harvest timing — is informed by nutritional research. We don't guess; we grow with intention.
We would rather reduce our harvest size than compromise on quality. Every tray that leaves our farm meets our exacting standard — or it doesn't leave.
Every single tray is seeded and tended by hand. This is not a factory — it is a farm, and every plant receives genuine care from day one.
Our growing process is designed around one principle: maximum nutrition, minimum intervention. Here is how each tray makes its journey from seed to your table.
We source only premium, non-GMO seeds. Each batch is soaked in filtered water for 6–12 hours to begin the germination process and activate the seed's natural enzymes.
Seeds are evenly distributed by hand onto trays of premium growing media — chosen for its clean, neutral composition that lets the plant's natural flavours shine through.
Our growing environment maintains optimal temperature, humidity, and airflow. The first 2–3 days, trays are kept in darkness (blackout) to encourage strong root development — mimicking natural soil cover.
Once sprouted, trays are moved under our growing lights and watered twice daily from below — never on the leaves — to prevent mould and maximise nutrient uptake.
Each variety is harvested at its precise peak — typically 7–14 days after seeding — when the first true leaves emerge and nutrient density is at its highest. We harvest every Saturday morning.
Harvested greens are packed immediately and delivered to your door the same day. No storage, no cold chain delays — just farm-fresh microgreens at their absolute best.
Every order you place supports a local, sustainable farm committed to making Jamaica healthier. Harvested Saturday morning, delivered to your door the same day. Order before Friday at 12pm.
